Central to the religious life of the school is the person of Jesus Christ who came among us ‘as one who serves’ (Luke 22.27). Our Catholic school is committed to reaching out to help those in need, through charitable outreach initiatives. All outreach activities connect to the person of Jesus Christ and to the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. Drawing on the Catholic Social Teaching of the Church, we have a deep commitment to supporting a range of charitable organisations, families and individuals in need.
The St Luke’s community is centred around the mission of Jesus. We provide opportunities for students, staff and parents to celebrate our Catholic faith with Masses, liturgies, prayer groups, retreats and spirituality days. Prayer punctuates our day as we gather together to celebrate and reflect on the needs of our families and the wider community.
The Religious Education of the students is paramount and we ask families to journey with us on this path of exciting learning with their children. Catholic values are integrated within subjects across the curriculum and are evidenced in our daily interactions with each other.
